Even when they are not in operation, industrial production plants can bring several tons of weight to bear on surfaces measuring just a few square inches in area. And when they are in use, this load is further increased by vibrations and oscillations. Similar loads can be applied when forklift trucks and other items of cargo-handling equipment are driven around in industrial buildings.

Argelith ceramic clinker and Argelith fully vitrified tiles come in thicknesses designed to cope with such circumstances. They are extremely resistant to localised loads, while offering very high compressive and flexing strength. The four top edges of our industrial tiles are also chamfered to protect them from cracks and breaks caused by operations involving heavyweight mobile equipment.
